- Experienced in managing interfaces for the design and construction of transit projects and have a full understanding of the design approval process and TFP/TOP process.
- Shall take charge of all coordination work of civil, architectural, and System-Wide Contractors (SWC) and be responsible for managing project coordinators relating to civil/structural, architectural, and E&M.
- Manage/coordinate work with sub-contractors.
- Manage and coordinate all M&E subcontractors, and see to it that all installations are on schedule in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review M&E Design, bill quantity and report to the Project Manager any discrepancy/rectification for immediate implementation.
- Submit weekly report to the Project manager.
- Responsible for overall techno -commercial issues , site execution, post contracts activities, sub-contractors management, dealing with client & consultants ,local authorities , business development, tender works and coordination with head office.
- Lead the MEP design development and coordination meetings.
- Review and coordinate design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Perform and implement value engineering proposals on the design.
- Control and guide all M&E subordinates, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
- Handle all submittals including shop drawings, material & systems, method statements.
- Interface management with the client and consultant representatives, local authorities, and interface contractors.
- Developing procurement strategies for subcontractors/ suppliers in terms of packaging and scope of works.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years of experience in managing Civil & Structural, Architectural, and/or E&M Building Services work of similar scale and complexity.
- Knowledge of BIM/DGN/Auto CAD will be an added advantage.
- Must have LTA project experience or any civil infrastructure projects.
