Job Description & Requirements:
We are a global leader in the athletic footwear and apparel industry, seeking a highly skilled Product Operations Specialist to join our APAC team. In this role, you will support the FlexPLM product, a Product Lifecycle Management tool critical to our product management processes. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, train users, and manage product operations within a dynamic environment.
Position Summary:
As the Product Operations Specialist for PLM, you will be part of the Product Management team, reporting to the Digital Product Manager. You will be responsible for supporting and managing FlexPLM, playing a key role in troubleshooting, user management, and providing training to both internal teams and external vendor users. The ideal candidate will have experience with FlexPLM or similar product lifecycle tools and be based in Singapore, with the flexibility to travel 20% of the time to manufacturers in the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bug and issue resolution for FlexPLM users in Asia, including both internal employees and external vendors.
- Manage and communicate progress of issue resolution to business teams.
- Set up new users and ensure they have the necessary security roles and access.
- Become an expert on FlexPLM, understanding the business processes and functionalities of each.
- Conduct training sessions for new users and provide ongoing support to experienced users.
- Update training materials as new features and enhancements are introduced to the platforms.
- Travel to manufacturing sites in the APAC region (up to 20%) to conduct training and provide on-site support during busy seasons.
Requirements:
- Must be based in Singapore to provide timely support to users in the APAC timezone.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a global organization.
- Experience with FlexPLM or other product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Enovia, Centric, Lectra Fashion PLM, Teamcenter, Propel, Arena PLM, Open BOM) is required.
- Prior experience in the retail or apparel/footwear industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
- Willingness to travel for scheduled training and support.
