As a Social Media Manager and Content Creator at Woopa Travels Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our travel services and destinations. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media channels, and analyzing market trends to ensure our brand remains competitive. Your creative and analytical skills will help drive customer engagement and enhance our market presence. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for travel and a keen understanding of the latest marketing techniques and tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research and identify social media trends, insights, and best practices.
- Develop social media strategies aligned with business goals together with the marketing manager.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
- Create engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Able to manage the social media calendar and ensure timely publication of content independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to design visuals (statics, video, GIFs) to be posted on online and social media platforms.
- Build and nurture a community on social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
- Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners.
- Able to monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools bi-weekly and monthly, and thereafter suggest and implement immediate action steps where necessary.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize content and improve engagement.
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to create cohesive and compelling social media content.
- Able to speak to and coordinate with external partners, influencers, and agencies when necessary with supervision from manager.
- Able to convey content ideas clearly to the local team to share workload or if content needs to be taken on the ground.
- Perform other adhoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Studied Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in social media management, preferably within the travel and tourism industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Strong command of English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative and trendy ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Intermediate skills in using creative design tools (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Capcut etc.)
- Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
