Responsibilities / Duties / Job Description / Job Scope
1. Manage full spectrum of procurement activities
· To get quotation from supplier on materials and consumable products
· To prepare PO and issue to supplier on materials and consumable products.
· To liaise/ ensure supplier is track on their committed delivery date.
· To update Master planner/ production planning control on material status.
2. Maintain good relationship with suppliers.
3. Work with different department to do demand planning and ordering of inventory for various brands.
4. Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure cashflow is in-line with project through timely.
5. Evaluate and negotiate contract terms on pricing and product quality.
6. Co-ordinate between suppliers and internal departments/project teams to ensure specifications are met and in compliance with client requirements.
7. Responsible for the performance of vendors, procurement planning, product quality and timely delivery.
8. Any other ad-hoc activities as assigned by reporting manager
Job Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Business or other relevant degrees
· 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office - MS Word and Excel
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Fast Learner & able to work independently with minimum supervision and has a good working attitude
