Job Description
Purpose
• The Engineer is responsible to support daily operations of OSS systems to meet business and network objectives and improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with different stakeholders to facilitate the project implementation and maintenance of existing or new software solutions.
• The individual in this role must support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) and participates in all software development lifecycle phases.
• Some of the unique challenges this position will face include configuration management, process/workflow definition, customization, system/data migration and maintenance of systems.
Qualifications
- At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Telecom OSS, application development implementation, design solutions or maintenance of software applications and system platforms
- A diploma/degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience in VMware and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Others) and RedHat Openshift technologies
- Administration of Servers/Router/Switch experience
- Proficiency with an application/web server under Windows/UNIX/Linux environments
- Knowledge in network operation workflow
