Team Summary:
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's client-facing consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems linked to money movement. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results. In Asia Pacific (AP), VCA has two types of teams – (1) Geo team, focused on serving the accounts in their geography and (2) Practice Area teams, focused on providing and deepening expertise in functional topics such as risk, digital, corporate banking, AI, etc.
What A Practice Head – Commercial Money Movement & Strategy, Asia Pacific does at VISA:
As a Senior Director, you will lead, grow and deliver the strategy, business, team and financials for VCA's Asia Pacific Commercial Banking and Strategy Practice Area. You will be responsible for defining (1) what to sell and (2) how to sell, that enables VCA Asia Pacific to sell, deliver and implement high value consulting and analytics projects and solutions with this diverse and growing set of clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be accountable for developing ‘set-plays’ (or package consulting offerings) for commercial banking clients, and AI focused set-plays in payments & money movement
- Lead the scoping, selling, and delivering of key client engagements, to prove viability of set-plays developed
- Take joint responsibility (along with geo focused VCA teams) for meeting key metrics such as revenue growth and client satisfaction
- Establish Intellectual Property (IP) repository on topics related to corporate banking, commercial payments and AI for VCA by capitalizing on learnings from consulting engagements (e.g., frameworks, create library of case studies etc.)
- Continuously build knowledge, surfacing new insights and producing thought leadership pieces that contribute to practice development
- Directly manage, lead, recruit and develop a team of Directors, Managers and Analysts

Qualifications
What you will need:
- 12 or more years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or business management
- Strong experience in commercial banking
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully
- Ability to translate strategy into an internal and external narrative and to connect the dots between product development, strategy development, operating plans and execution, data driven insights, business acumen and finance
- Excellent communication skills plus the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and organizations internal and external to Visa
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Strong executive presence as well as discipline
- Strong team orientation, collaborative, flexible, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and enjoys learning through new challenges

- Knowledge and understanding of the commercial payments space including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives etc.
