Job Description:
The APAC Education Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing educational initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong event management skills and the ability to coordinate complex logistics. The ideal candidate is also an effective communicator, fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin, to collaborate closely with stakeholders, especially as the primary host is based in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute educational events, including webinars, conferences, and training sessions, handling the process from start to finish.
- Manage participant registration, scheduling, and virtual setup for regional webinars, ensuring seamless execution.
- Coordinate logistics such as air travel, accommodations, and transportation, particularly for events involving overseas speakers.
- Work closely with local agencies and vendors across APAC to ensure all logistical needs are met.
- Webinar and Virtual Event Coordination:
- Set up and manage regional virtual events, including technical setup, participant registration, and live event support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for attendees and provide assistance during the event to ensure an optimal experience.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate all travel logistics, including air tickets, accommodations, and local transportation, especially for international speakers.
- Collaborate with local agencies to streamline event logistics and ensure adherence to regional requirements.
- Research and Content Curation:
- Review, interpret, and summarize scientific research papers related to science and clinical topics.
- Identify and highlight relevant insights from research papers, providing clear and concise summaries.
- Prepare bi-monthly summaries of clinical research for internal use or presentation, ensuring accessibility of complex information.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders across the APAC region to identify educational needs and develop targeted content.
- Ensure alignment of educational content with regional needs, maintaining strong communication with the host in China.
- Program Effectiveness Evaluation:
- Track and analyze the success of educational events and webinars, collecting feedback to improve future programs.
Qualifications:
- Detail-Oriented and Strong Follow-Through: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure completion of all assigned responsibilities.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to converse in both English and Mandarin (Mandarin fluency is required for collaboration with China-based stakeholders).
- Proven Event Management Experience: Demonstrated success in managing educational or corporate training events, especially with international scope.
- Organizational and Logistical Skills: Strong ability to coordinate complex logistics, including international travel arrangements and event setup.
- Familiarity with Virtual Event Platforms: Comfortable setting up and managing webinars, including technical support for virtual platforms.
- Analytical Skills for Research: Ability to review and interpret scientific research, particularly clinical studies, and summarize key insights.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with stakeholders across different regions.

Salary : $S4,000.00 – S$5,500.00
