Job Description
- Responsibilities to the Building Authorities to supervise the works in accordance to the Building Control Act, Regulations and approved plans.
- Responsibilities to the Project Architect to ensure that the works are carried out according to contract.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the design intent, specifications, and quality of works as specified in the terms of contract and are in accordance with the Authority’s requirements and other Authorities or Agencies requirements. Highlight to the Architect for any discrepancy or lack of information on time.
- Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, technical submittals and material samples including the civil & structural and coordinated combined services model (CCSM) by the contractors and assist to review them on behalf of the Project Architect-in-charge and his team to ensure compliance with the design intent, specifications and agreed programme.
- Review the contractor's architectural material submissions for compliance with the Authority's Requirements.
- Monitor site progress against the approved master programme and work closely with the Project Architect-in-charge and his team on site progress and issues affecting timeline.
- Provide daily updates and weekly reports on site progress.
- Maintain proper records of all site files on project correspondences, documents and drawings.
- Work closely with the Resident Engineer and Senior Resident Engineer on the daily site operations and inspections.
- Attend all meetings and maintain records of the meetings.
Requirement
- Degree in Architecture recognised by the Singapore Board of Architects or registered with the Singapore Board of Architects. Accredited as a Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant practical experience in full-time site supervision in Singapore. Prior experience in amusement park projects in preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to lead a team of resident site staff and have good supervisory skills.
- Conversant and updated in all prevailing building regulations and requirements.
- Good literacy in BIM and AutoCAD.
- Able to start immediately.
