Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager / Director with a deep understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector. The successful candidate will lead investment strategies and manage high-stakes investments in blockchain technology and digital assets, making pivotal contributions to our growth within this rapidly evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies focused on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital assets to maximize returns.
- Deal Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and pursue high-value investment opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the blockchain ecosystem.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of investments, monitoring performance, identifying areas for value creation, and recommending strategies for growth.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed investment reports and performance analysis to the executive team and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in investment management, with a significant focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency investments.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing deals in the blockchain or technology sectors.
- Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the cryptocurrency market.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess risk and perform detailed financial analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to digital assets and cryptocurrency in key global markets.
