EHS Deliverables:
• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures tailored to the unique requirements of data center operations in Singapore, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive Gap analysis assessments and audits of data center facilities to identify potential hazards/risks and ensure adherence to EHS regulations and industry best practices.
• Deliver training programs and awareness initiatives for DC Operation and XFN teams on EHS programs, systems and emergency response procedures as needed from time to time.
• Lead/participate in incident reporting and investigation processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and evaluate environmental performance metrics, noise assessment, energy efficiency, water usage, and waste management, and develop strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities, including the development of emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and communication protocols compliant with local regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental protection, health, and safety regulations in Singapore, including obtaining necessary permits, conducting inspections, and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with local authorities, industry organizations, and community stakeholders to foster proactive/positive relationships and address EHS concerns related to data center operations.
• Integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and decision-making, working closely with facility managers, engineering teams, and other internal departments.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory updates in EHS management specific and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as necessary.
• Cultivate a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among data center personnel through effective communication, training, and engagement initiatives.
Operational Support:
• Work in customer’s leased or owned Data centers, Customer operated Warehouse spaces, and other areas as designated, providing on site EHS support.
• Hands-on involvement for assigned data center activities such as: accessing and supporting server operation works and FM maintenance works and reporting findings for immediate escalation/mitigation.
• Conduct inspections via provided forms of critical spaces within the Data Center, including Data Halls, Storage Rooms, loading docks, and other areas as assigned.
• Support security & safety incidents as a first responder, documenting findings and providing written reports.
• Support operation rack moves and deployments, as an EHS overviewer.
• 100% onsite support with no remote work
• Ability to work with multiple crossfunctional teams such as Data Center Operations, Logistics, SecOps & etc.
• Follow specific task instructions and provide necessary reporting.

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills to be able to analyze hardware and software problems; research and resolve complex issues; and interface with customers, manufacturers, and technical support staff.
• Ability to travel between assigned locations, including Data Centers, Warehouses, etc. as needed.
• Valid driver's license, with reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time with minimum rest or breaks.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficient in Office Suite.
• Trained or willing to be CPR certified.
• Previous Security experience desired.
• Knowledge of Data center Safety and Security practices.
• COLO experience desired.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety & Environmental , or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications under local registration is a must (Registered Safety & Health Officer)
- Singapore - Register Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) by Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Risk Management Trained & other WSQ Safety Certification preferred(WAH,First Aider, Electrical, FSM)
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS management, with specific experience in data center operations, is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore and Jarkata EHS regulations and standards, including familiarity with MOM & guidelines / requirements.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing EHS programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with Singapore regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of conducting thorough risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of EHS management, including participation in relevant training courses and certifications.
