Technical Sales Engineer ( Aluminum & Glass)

Technical Sales and Support

  • Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and specifications for aluminum and glass projects.
  • Recommend suitable products and solutions, providing technical guidance to support client decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients and project stakeholders.

Technical Proposal and Quotation Preparation

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals, detailing technical specifications and pricing for clients.
  • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure sales agreements and contracts.

Project Coordination and After-Sales Support

  • Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and client specifications.
  • Provide post-sale technical support, troubleshooting issues related to installation or product performance.
  • Assist clients with technical documentation, warranty claims, and other post-sales service requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the aluminium and glass industry or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of aluminium and glass applications in construction, including curtain walls, facades, windows, and doors.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated experience in sales negotiation, proposal development, and relationship management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to offer creative and effective technical solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
