Receptionist

Location: Tampines North Primary School, 30 Tampines Avenue 9, Singapore 529565
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Option to Extend: The Authority grants the Contractor the option to extend the Contract for a further one (1) year.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
  • Manage front counter duties by attending to students, parents, walk-in customers, and vendors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Address inquiries and provide assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
  1. Call Management:
  • Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls, record messages, and relay information to relevant school personnel as necessary.
  • Ensure effective communication flow by managing call logs and messages accurately.
  1. Record Keeping:
  • Assist with data entry and the compilation of student and administrative records.
  • Maintain organized filing systems to ensure easy access to information.
  1. Logistics Support:
  • Assist with ad-hoc staff requests, including the preparation of school materials and facility bookings.
  • Coordinate logistics for events and activities as needed.
  1. Student Services:
  • Collate student data and assist in administering applications for financial assistance and other support schemes.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support for student-related inquiries.
  1. Additional Duties:
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the School administration to support the smooth operation of school activities.

Working Hours:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).
  • Days Off: Not required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Education:

  • At least N-level passes in English and Mathematics or relevant WSQ certificates.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.

Experience:

  • Relevant working experience in similar roles, preferably in a primary school setting.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
