Location: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School (Primary Section), 501 Ang Mo Kio St 13, Singapore 569405
Contract Period: 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025
Option to Extend: 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026).
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 6:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break).
- Fridays: 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break).
- Total Working Hours per Week: 42 hours.
- Flexible Hours: Depending on school requirements, working hours may change to any time between 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Days Off: Not required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Handle incoming calls, walk-in inquiries, and manage the delivery of school mails and parcels.
- Attend to pupils who are unwell in the General Office, ensuring adherence to the school’s early dismissal procedures.
- Coordinate with the teacher in charge to update weekly school activities in the General Office.
- Pack and prepare materials for distribution to all classes.
Compile simple information and statistics using MS Office applications. - Organize and distribute school correspondences and materials.
Provide administrative support during major school events, such as P1 orientation.
- General Office Management:
- Ensure the efficient functioning of the General Office by maintaining an orderly environment.
- Assist with the management of records and documentation to ensure compliance with school policies.
- Other Duties:
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the School administration.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Education:
- At least a GCE ‘O’ Level (or equivalent).
Language Proficiency:
- Preferably well conversant in both English and Mandarin.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
First Aid Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of first aid is required.
