Kitchen Crew
$2,200 - $2,800 (full time), $12 - $14/hr (part time)
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist the Chef in basic food/ingredient preparation including washing, peeling, cutting/slicing, chopping etc.
· Wash, clean & make dry the dishes, utensils, pots, pans, chopping boards, kitchen equipment etc.
· Pack takeout orders for customers
· Clean and sanitizing the food preparation areas.
· Sweeping & mopping the floor and emptying rubbish bins.
· Receive and store supplies & food ingredients in appropriate & hygienic ways.
· Followed all food safety & hygiene guidelines and standards.
· Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
• Preferably with 1 year’s relevant experience in general kitchen operations, food safety & hygiene guidelines and practices, etc.
• Minimum secondary school education and with a valid WSQ food safety & hygiene level 1 certificate
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays. Part timers worked days: Thursday - Sunday
• Able to work independently and support other team members proactively
in a fast-paced environment
