Job Description:
- Lead accounting and finance function.
- Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting matters, inclusive of filing XBRL.
- Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial reporting.
- Prepare annual budget, forecast and financial analysis.
- Manage working capital effectively by preparing monthly cash flow projection
- Work with business leaders to prepare annual budget & forecast for board approval.
- Responsible for statutory reporting matters including GST and submission government statistics/surveys/grants.
- Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, company secretary and bankers.
- Provide support to business units to review and analyze on project profitability.
- Involve in continuous process / system improvement activities to improve workflow effectiveness & efficiency.
- Any ad-hoc reporting and projects.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification preferably with professional certification in Accounting/ Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of accounting
- Basic understanding of relevant legal aspects for accounting
- Construction company background is an added advantage
