Assistant Accounts & Finance Manager

Job Description:

  • Lead accounting and finance function.
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting matters, inclusive of filing XBRL.
  • Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial reporting.
  • Prepare annual budget, forecast and financial analysis.
  • Manage working capital effectively by preparing monthly cash flow projection
  • Work with business leaders to prepare annual budget & forecast for board approval.
  • Responsible for statutory reporting matters including GST and submission government statistics/surveys/grants.
  • Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, company secretary and bankers.
  • Provide support to business units to review and analyze on project profitability.
  • Involve in continuous process / system improvement activities to improve workflow effectiveness & efficiency.
  • Any ad-hoc reporting and projects.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification preferably with professional certification in Accounting/ Diploma in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of accounting
  • Basic understanding of relevant legal aspects for accounting
  • Construction company background is an added advantage
