PART-TIME POSITION AS PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR
1. Responsibilities
1.1 In-person classes - conducted on Saturdays
- To ensure that the set up for the classroom by the venue provider is in order for classes.
- To check that the AV systems are working, and to support the lecturers in setting up their laptop and presentation materials prior to classes.
- To set up the device for recording of the classes and ensure that it is working properly, and to ensure that the recording captures the lecturers’ voices with clarity.
- To ensure that the recording of the classes on Zoom are done properly. The recordings are for uploading onto the learning management system for candidates’ reference and for audit purposes.
- To manage the registration of candidates according to the programme and funding agency requirements, and to maintain a proper registration record.
- To ensure that all candidates received their printed materials and calculator.
- To monitor candidates’ participation at the classes and inform CFA Society Singapore should there be any concerns.
- To ensure that the classroom is kept tidy and conducive for learning.
- To inform CFA Society Singapore when to stock up on snacks and refreshments.
- Any other reasonable duties from time to time as assigned by the CFA Society Singapore.
1.2. Online classes - conducted on 1 to 2 days on weekdays
- To ensure that the set up on Zoom platform is in order for online classes.
- To check that the systems are working, and to support the lecturers in setting up their systems and presentation materials prior to classes.
- To ensure that the recording of the classes on Zoom are done properly. The recordings are for uploading onto the learning management system for candidates’ reference and for audit purposes.
- To manage the registration of candidates according to the programme and funding agency requirements, and to maintain a proper registration record.
- To monitor candidates’ participation at the classes and inform CFA Society Singapore should there be any concerns.
- Any other reasonable duties from time to time as assigned by the CFA Society Singapore.
2. Qualifications
- Knowledge on the use of communications technology platforms to:
- assist lecturers and trainers to conduct smooth delivery of in-person and online
programmes - ensure that the recordings of all classes are successful for posting onto learning management system
- Comfortable working with lecturers and trainers to assist with any technical issues onsite and online
- Comfortable engaging with students to assist with registration and attendance matters, and any technical issues onsite and online
- Familiar with Excel
- Able to commit for a minimum of two (2) years on a part-time work arrangement
