- Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing friendly, efficient service.
- Operating cash registers, processing sales, handling various payment types (cash, card, mobile), and issuing receipts.
- Accurately scanning and bagging merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantities. This may involve handling meat items, so comfort with that is important.
- Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assisting with stocking shelves, replenishing inventory (including meat items), and performing light cleaning duties.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures, especially those related to loss prevention and safety (which may be particularly important for a meat-focused store).
- You may be involved in promoting meat items, like informing customers about special offers or new products. This could involve some knowledge of different cuts of meat and cooking methods.
Requirements:
- Customer service and sales skills (including recommending products)
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills to learn the store's point-of-sale (POS) system

- 10 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday to Sunday
