Digital Engineer's overall responsibility is to drive digitalisation efforts within the project teams for the purpose of delivering an IDD project. Be a champion in the advancement of BIM, VDC and digitalisation.
Responsibilities
- Proficient with C&S/ Archi / M&E 3D Models
- Provide inputs to improve QA/QC monitoring for alignment with organisation VDC/IDD standards
- Updating of organisational BIM templates and standardisation documentation
- Creation and monitoring of 2D/3D families
- Lead a team of Modellers/Specialist and monitor the BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose
- Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedule.
- Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from the models
- Support design coordination with technical teams, Client, subcontractors via VDC
- Run QA/QC check for correct parameters and attributes for 5D Cost Management
- Create/Maintain Dashboard for monitoring of project management metrics
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent (with relevant course in BIM) or Trained in BIM (Diploma/Training Certificate) or Tier 2 DDM Accreditation
- Proven track record with at least 4 years full experiences with BIM modelling and management, preferably from A1 Main Contractor or Consultants
- Must be proficient in Revit, Navisworks & MS Office
- Preference of basic knowledge on Dynamo & Civil3D usage
- Have experience with 4D Synchro/Fuzor, 5D Cubicost and PowerBI implementation
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Highly adaptable, flexible personality who embraces teamwork, but also enjoys working independently
- Experience with Infrastructure Projects will be an added advantage
