JOB SUMMARY
- The Analyst role within the ESG Advisory team will contribute with analytical work on data and content narrative and presentation for advisory mandates. The team works with corporates and financial institutions clients, offering advice on ESG integration, disclosure and stakeholders’ readiness, ratings and sustainable, transition and net zero strategies. The analytical work involves ability to understand and elaborate data base and data platforms on ESG in general, ratings and climate scenarios, work planning, peers and gap analysis, application, and design of sustainable and transition frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Effectively deliver ESG advisory services to organizations globally, and demonstrate an ability to effectively support and learn from best-in-class clients across all continents
- Development and delivery of capacity building, training, and educational sessions to enhance client and colleague understanding and engagement with key ESG thematics
- Work with high impact and high emitting sectors to support client decarbonization objectives
- Support clients to understand, manage, and communicate their sustainability related impacts to stakeholders
Business
- Familiar with concepts of ESG and its application to corporate advisory
- Identifies market segments relevant to own function, unit, or region.
- Describes initiatives and strategies for locally relevant market.
Processes
- Describes the process of sales proposals and presentations.
- Identifies key features of a formal proposal or presentation.
- Identifies different sales proposals and their target customers.
- Locates the resources and tools necessary for developing a proposal and presentation.
People & Talent
- Work closely with the Head of ESG Advisory supporting analytical assessments and data base integration, participation, and preparation in all stages of pitches, presentations, and mandate executions

- Describes the nature of a productive business relationship.
- Explains the benefits of building business partnerships.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 4+ years of experience in sustainability
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate with corporates and large financial institutions at C-Suite level and above
- Good attitude at working in a developing environment and being an agent of change
- Ability to effectively manage client relationships across markets and sectors
- Capacity to think innovatively, with a deep understanding of corporate transition planning, to provide specialized solutions to global clients developing climate strategies
- Diverse background in sustainability preferred to support work with a variety of stakeholders and client perspectives
- Support the development of industry frameworks and best practice
- Strong analytical skills and presentation capabilities
- Project management skills
- Well-developed listening, communication and influencing skills
