As a Fleet Executive in our ship management company, you will play a key role in supporting the administrative functions related to fleet operations. This position primarily involves assisting the crewing and purchasing departments and managing vessel and shore documentation. The ideal candidate will have to be detail-oriented and proficient in using Excel and other computer tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the crewing and purchasing departments, assisting with data entry, record-keeping, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of vessel documentation, including internal and external inspection reports, company manuals, and standard forms.
- Collaborate with various departments to compile and verify necessary documentation, ensuring all records are current and accessible.
- Assist in managing communication with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders as necessary for fleet operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications; experience with fleet management software SmartPAL is bonus.
- Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy.
- Previous experience in maritime or fleet management is a bonus but not required.
