Technical Sales Engineer

Sesto Robotics Pte. Ltd.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be the technical expert on SESTO Robotics' products, helping customers, partners, and integrators effectively integrate our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) into their specific applications.


Working closely with the engineering teams, your role will involve addressing customer challenges by offering tailored solutions that showcase the value of our products. You'll guide customers through the adoption process, ensuring seamless integration while providing technical know-how and driving successful implementations.


Specific Responsibilities:


1. Identify and Qualify Sales Opportunities:

- Actively identify and qualify new leads through market research, networking, and outreach activities.

- Assess customer automation needs and pain points to propose suitable Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions, including payload and application-specific requirements.


2. Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management:

- Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and track performance against targets using CRM tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive sales efforts and ensure alignment with customer needs.


3. Technical Proposal Development and Documentation:

- Create technical proposals, cost estimates, commercial offers, and tender documentation in consultation with internal technical teams.

- Address technical and commercial queries from customers to ensure clear understanding of proposed solutions.


4. Proposal Presentation and Negotiation:

- Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring all payload and application requirements are met.

- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to ensure alignment with company policies while securing favorable agreements.

- Handle objections and challenges to close deals effectively.


5. Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts.

- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits and value of AMR solutions.

- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing post-sales assistance as needed.


6. Collaboration with Technical Teams:

- Work closely with technical experts to develop tailored solutions and presentations that meet customer requirements.

- Utilize technical insights to strengthen the value proposition and enhance the competitive edge of AMR solutions.


Requirements:

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Ability to read basic electrical schematics
  • Basic programming skills preferrably in Python or C/C++
  • Excellent reporting writing and communication skills
