Responsibilities:
- Work with group companies to collect, clean, and preprocess datasets to ensure data quality and reliability
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Ability to data manipulation and apply statistical methods to transform data into actionable insights for business stakeholders (familiar with regression and time series analysis)
- Interpret and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports, BI dashboards, and presentations
- Automate existing recurring reports and analyses
- Design and develop the data architecture for BI solutions
- Build data pipelines where necessary for the development of visualization solutions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Marine, or Construction industry.
- Experience working on large-scale projects (e.g., $100 million+), particularly in analyzing project performance data.
- familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
Skill:
- Proficient in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including macros and complex data functions.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and report insights.
- Ability to handle large datasets, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights.
