Due to our company's continued growth and expansion, we are now hiring the following position


Risk Engineer


We are currently looking for a well organised and self-motivated individual to join our team of 4 Risk Engineers to contribute to establishing, strengthening and promoting a market leading Risk Engineering practice for HDI Risk Consulting (HRC) in Asia and the Middle East.


Duties will include (but not limited to)


· Conduct General Property and Engineering Risk Engineering Surveys.

· Implementation of efficient loss prevention measures with the development of effective operational risk management procedures at client level.

· Establish a Risk Engineering Practice in line with HRC Standards.

· Implement HRC Risk Engineering tools.

· Evaluate loss potential in accordance with HRC guidelines.

· Desktop reviews of external risk reports as requested by underwriters.

· Provide reports in a timely manner in agreement with underwriters and in accordance with HRC Risk Engineering guidelines.

· Attend client presentations where required by the underwriting team.

· Develop close relationships with clients.

· Keep up-to-date with the latest technical developments in major industries and provide technical updates to underwriters.


Skills and Experience

· Approximately 7 or more years of risk engineering experience with an insurance company or fire protection consultancy firm.

· Appropriate formal Engineering Qualifications.

· Good understanding of internationally recognised fire protection system (e.g. NFPA, FM guidelines).

· Previous experience with semi-conductor industry would be advantageous.

· Professional involvement in Property and Engineering Risk Engineering.

· Strong communication skills.

· Willingness to travel
