Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train NDT technicians, manage schedules, and ensure team performance.
- NDT Methods: Implement and oversee advanced testing techniques (e.g., Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Eddy Current) and maintain equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to testing standards, analyze results, and prepare reports.
- Client & Project Management: Coordinate with clients, plan projects, and manage resources.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Integrate new technologies and improve testing processes.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Manage budgets, procure equipment, and document results for audits.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of various NDT techniques and principles.
- Management Skills: Ability to lead a team, manage projects, and allocate resources effectively.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ASNT Level II or Level III, or equivalent qualifications in NDT.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ISO 9712).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, analyze test results, and generate reports.
