As the General Manager/VP of Operations for the company, you will be fully responsible for the market strategy planning, business development, team management, and operations of the education collaboration business in the Southeast Asian market. You will need to work closely with the senior management team to formulate and implement the company's growth strategy, driving business expansion and increasing market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Southeast Asian market, collaborating with senior management to determine the company's strategic direction and business objectives.
- Lead business development efforts in the Southeast Asian market, acquiring new clients and building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Oversee the operations team, including sales, marketing, and customer service departments, to ensure efficient operations and achievement of business goals.
- Manage budgeting and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
- Analyse market trends and competitor dynamics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to advance product development, marketing, and customer service initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance the company’s visibility and influence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, with over 8 years of experience in the enterprise services industry; candidates with a background in the education collaboration sector are preferred.
- Familiar with the enterprise services industry, with extensive experience in business development and client management.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and team management experience, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strong market insight and strategic vision, with the ability to adapt quickly to market changes and make decisions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of effective communication and collaboration across different levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and data analysis skills, able to make accurate business decisions based on market data.
- High sense of responsibility and execution capability, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain high performance in demanding environments.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese associates.
