This position offers a dynamic opportunity to shape the learning and development landscape within a global organization, enabling you to make a significant impact on employee growth and performance. You will collaborate with diverse leaders and external partners to design innovative training solutions that drive organizational success and enhance individual skills.
- Communication:Engage regularly with the Regional HR Director, Talent Manager, line managers, VPs/MDs, and occasionally Sector Presidents through emails, written documents, and group presentations.
L&D Needs Assessment:Advise, coach, and assist line managers in identifying learning and development (L&D) needs via job analysis, appraisals, and ongoing consultations.
Recommend actions and develop group-delivered L&D solutions, monitoring and reviewing their effectiveness. - Budget Management:Provide guidance on annual budget requirements for the learning and development function within the Regional HR department, monitoring L&D activity costs.
- Training Schedule Planning:Plan and communicate a 12-month training schedule to all business functions and regions, ensuring flexibility to adapt to business needs.
Integrate global L&D and talent development activities into the regional training schedule as directed. - External Partnerships:Build relationships with external training providers to ensure high-quality personal skills and management development for all employees.
- Performance Issue Resolution:Guide line managers in addressing performance issues through development and training, applying knowledge for quick resolutions while also addressing complex challenges.
- Graduate Trainee Activities:Collaborate with the HR team on all graduate trainee activities, including recruitment, placements, and career planning, ensuring effective L&D delivery for the graduate trainee program.
- Continuous Improvement:Seek new approaches and methods to enhance Croda's L&D function and remain competitive.
Stay informed about L&D developments through journals, meetings, and relevant courses. - Process and System Development:Develop, implement, and maintain L&D processes and systems to meet employee and line manager needs while complying with external audit requirements.
- Decision-Making Authority:Make decisions regarding training design and delivery, with strategic direction developed in collaboration with the Regional HR Director and Talent Manager
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of personal skill and behavioural development areas, techniques and theories.
- Ability to design and deliver L&D solutions requiring a thorough understanding of the training cycle and learning styles.
- Influence managers to take a recommended course of action.
- Regional experience and comfortable with managing high volume
