Job Description
- Preparing food ingredients and setting up the kitchens ready for FCE cooking lessons. May be required to use basic kitchen appliances.
- Keeping kitchen utensils, furniture and equipment such as fridge, oven and cooker cleaned and ready-to-use.
- Keeping kitchens and food preparation counters/floor/rooms clean and ready-to-use.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
- Able to perform food preparation, cleaning and washing works in a kitchen environment
- A good team player
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Positive and takes initiative in carrying out duties
- Able to work and communicate with teenagers
Working hours
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 3.00pm, inclusive of 45min break.
- In the event that the school requires the personnel to perform duty beyond official working hours, personnel shall be granted off-in-lieu.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
