Job Description:
- To plan and monitor the execution of the construction works including subcontractors and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specification/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, company’s HSSE practices and within schedule.
- Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site.
- Prepare piping layouts, isometrics and general arrangement drawing as required.
- Establish a day-to-day work schedule for the project base on the master schedule.
- Close coordination with team members to optimise usage of resources.
- Co-ordinate with electrical, instrumentation, process team and civil structural team to understand the elevation & structural requirements.
- Conduct site survey to assist Engineering Team in getting engineering solutions.
- Prepare and write daily reports to update daily progress, weather, resources including manpower and plant.
- Other work-related duties as and when required by the Manager/Chief Engineer.
- Able to work independently and good team member.
- Able to communicate to all levels and attend site meetings on a daily basis.
- Able to communicate with Client’s representatives, QP and other stake holders.
- Prepare as-built drawings after completion of construction and documents as necessary.
Requirement:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant skills certificates with at least 3 years related experience in the field. Diploma holder with 5 years of related experience will also be considered.
- Familiar with 3D Program such as Revit and Plant 3 D
- Preferably with 3 years or more working experience in project site work.
- Familiar in construction materials & specifications would be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates will be considered and on the job training will be provided.
