Our Client:
Our client is a well-known Fintech company, headquartered in Japan. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their Singapore team as an Accounting & Finance Manager. Proficiency in Japanese language is preferred to smoothly and effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers.
The Responsibilities:
- Accounting and Financial management for Singapore and Japan group companies, including supporting of Accounting operations for new businesses
- Prepare monthly, yearly financial statements
- Support the annual budgeting process and forecasting activities
- Manage daily cash flow and processing of payments and deposits
- Liaise with tax agent for the filing of annual tax returns and addressing any tax-related issues
- Prepare quarterly reports for GST reporting
- Liaise with auditors regarding audit-related concerns. Ensure that statutory accounts are meticulously prepared in alignment with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
- Proactive proposal and implementation of business processes
- Other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned
The Requirements:
- Proficiency in Japanese language is preferred to smoothly and effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting or Finance
- Team management experience is required
- Understanding of SFRS and IFRS
- Analytical with good problem solving skills
