Job Description
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluates and approves credit limits, payment terms, and risk measures. Uses tools like credit insurance, financial analysis, and trade references to mitigate credit risks effectively.
- Collections and Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Manages and drives collections, with responsibilities for AR factoring, credit insurance claims, and debt recovery through various channels.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Works closely with teams in Commercial, Legal, Operations, Treasury, and Finance to resolve issues, ensure compliance with credit policies, and align objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identifies operational gaps, initiates credit process improvements, and oversees integration projects within the credit function.
- Customer Relations: Conducts reviews and customer visits when needed to address issues and strengthen relationships.
- Leadership and Team Management: Leads and motivates direct reports while implementing performance measures for credit operations.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Handles additional responsibilities and projects to adapt to evolving business needs.
Job Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in credit analysis and collections management within commodity trading/manufacturing MNC or banking.
- Skills:Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
Multicultural experience, with the ability to engage various groups and management levels. - Attributes:Independent, meticulous, mature, and a strong team player. Receptive to changing responsibilities and new challenges.
- Additional Requirements:People management experience is a plus. Willingness for after-hours calls and travel as needed.
