Our client specialises in power generation solutions in Asia. This role is pivotal as the engineer will serve as the main point of contact on-site under the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) and will act as a technical representative at a Gas Turbine Combined Cycle (GTCC) Power Plant located in Jurong Island, Singapore.
The role is on regular hours from Monday to Fridays, with standby duties for emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate operational issues related to turbines and auxiliary systems, providing urgent solutions with support from the office and engineering headquarters.
- Oversee and coordinate the completion of plant outages, collaborating with customer personnel and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain effective communication with the customer to address technical concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Support maintenance activities as outlined in the LTSA, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards while optimizing plant performance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for various operational and maintenance-related problems, summarizing findings in clear reports.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, along with over 10 years of relevant experience in the power or process industries.
- Previous experience in LTSA, plant commissioning, or maintenance of GTCC power plants is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge in GTCC operations, with excellent troubleshooting skills across mechanical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
