Responsibilities
Overall Project Management Support: Assisting in managing, planning, controlling, and executing projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are completed within the specified parameters, including budget and timelines.
Site Work Administration: Overseeing and administering all on-site activities, managing project delivery, and monitoring progress to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Submission to Authorities: Helping prepare and submit necessary documents to relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations and obtaining required approvals or permits for the project.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining and enhancing client satisfaction by monitoring project performance, addressing concerns, and ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Additionally, identifying and following up on new business opportunities with clients.
Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with various teams, including architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all construction activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, and reports to track project progress, costs, and any variations or changes that occur during construction.
Tender Document Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation, including drafting contracts, evaluating tenders, making recommendations for the selection of construction and procurement contracts, and participating in the awarding process.
A Site Engineer plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects, supporting project management, overseeing on-site activities, maintaining client relationships, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success and quality of the project.
