Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations.
- Develop and analyze financial models to support strategic business initiatives.
- Provide data-driven analysis to the management team and department heads.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for business units.
- Assist in implementing business intelligence tools and dashboard reporting.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing strong leadership and guidance.
- Manage tax, audit, and regulatory matters, liaising with external stakeholders.
- Oversee credit risk management and liaise with bankers; experience securing new credit facilities is a plus.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation, offering recommendations to management.
- Actively participate in strategic decision-making across all business units.
- Oversee the HR team to ensure alignment with financial strategies.
- Contribute to various projects and activities as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (CPA/CFA/ACCA required).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading a finance team.
- Strong understanding of finance operations, accounting fundamentals, controls, and management reporting.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 and ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in strengthening internal controls and driving process improvements.
