We are seeking to recruit a Research Scientist to work in the field of cell and gene drug development. This is an excellent mid-to-high level job for candidates interested in pursuing industry experience/or developing skillsets in cellular and molecular analysis.
The candidate’s responsibility including the following:
1. Design and draft the experiment plan independently.
2. Execute the experiment plan, analyze the result and prepare the experiment report.
3. Record all experiments and results completely and systematically.
4. Troubleshoot the experimental problems and design new experiment to solve the problem.
5. Perform experiments involving cell culture (such as immune cell culture, tumor cell culture, etc), flow cytometry, cytotoxicity test, ELISA, qPCR, immunofluorescence, molecular cloning, Lentivirus packaging, titer determination and other related experiments.
6. Ensure that standard operating procedures and safety regulations are followed.
7. Assist in supervising, training and guiding new colleagues when required.
8. Read, analyze and interpret scientific papers and patents and summarize the main points of the literature.
9. Author or review protocols, technical reports, and technology transfer documents.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree or PhD degree in Life Sciences, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology or in any related field with at least three years of bench work experience.
2. Extensive experience in immune cell culture such as T cell or NK cell.
3. Strong background and working knowledge of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques, such as cell culture, molecular cloning, real-time PCR, ELISA, cytotoxicity test, and flow cytometry.
4. With experience of designing experiment protocol, executing the protocol, analyzing data, troubleshooting and making conclusion.
5. Team player and willing to learn.
6. Prior experience in performing animal study is preferred.
7. Prior experience in gene editing such as Crisper Cas9 is preferred.
