Job Description:
- Efficiently load and unload shipments of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Perform physical labor, lifting and moving packages, crates, or pallets.Pay close attention to detail
- to verify accurate loading and unloading of items without damage.
- Label, sort, and organize items in the warehouse or delivery area.
- Check work orders to determine the type and quantity of items in incoming shipments.
- Match order information with received items and report any discrepancies to managers.
- Lift and move merchandise from delivery trucks onto checking pallets.
- Inspect each item to ensure conformity to standards and isolate non-conforming products.
- Transport and stack checked and secured goods in assigned storage areas.
- Provide assistance to warehouse workers from storage areas.
- Verify that picked orders have correct batch and item numbers.
- Load items onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper and secure placement.
- Update all necessary paperwork and record shipment information in the database.
- Maintain a high level of physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
- Possess strong organizational skills to manage incoming and outgoing loads.
- Work closely with team members and operation supervisors to complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.
- Develop effective communication skills to collaborate effectively in a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a well-functioning supply chain.
- Acquire knowledge of picking and packing orders to enhance performance in the role.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be physically fit
- Willing to work with heavy cartons (each carton range from 10 kg to 30 kg)
- Willing to work in wet and cold-room environment (4degree celsius to -18 degree Celsius)
- Able to communicate in Mandarin
