Job Description
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, etc.).
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and monitor budget variances and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare for internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation and information.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making (e.g., cost-benefit analysis, profitability analysis).
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on taxable sales, purchases, and expenses for GST reporting and submissions purposes.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, HR) to provide financial insights.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry trends.
Requirements
