General Summary:
The Shift Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the restaurant during their
shift, with a primary focus on customer satisfaction, inventory control, and staff management. The
Shift Manager is also responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with
safety and sanitation standards, and managing expenses and revenues during their shift.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall, the Shift Manager is expected to deliver 100% customer satisfaction through fast and
friendly service, quality products, and a clean environment.
On Manpower:
• Recruitment of Full-time and Part-time employees.
• Check uniform/dress code standards of all team members to ensure compliance with PH
standards.
• Ensure team members carry out responsibilities as assigned by coaching and follow-up.
• Provide overall leadership and recognize and motivate team members in the shift.
• Assist in hiring by ensuring that the restaurant is recruitment ready with updated formats.
On Machine:
• Ensure that equipment is calibrated and checked weekly to ensure maximum safety when
they are in operation.
• Ensure upkeep of delivery vehicles for restaurant-based deliveries.
• Assist in management of day-to-day operations by managing labor, supplies, and developing
FOH team.
• Ensure that facility and FOH equipment are maintained to company standards on a day-today basis.
On Materials:
• Ensure that products are available at all times during business hours.
• Ensure that inventory stocks are neatly placed for accessibility.
• Update Projection charts to ensure product availability and to reduce wastages.
On Method:
• Deliver CHAMPS for each transaction in the shift taking the team along.
• Follow the RGS checklist during the entire shift & hand over appropriately.
• Manage forecasting on each station & adjust based on business needs.
