With a global presence, our client is in the maritime industry. They are looking for a Senior HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day HR function. This is a regional role.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will:
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with local and regional employment regulations.
- Lead, support and provide guidance to team members in projects such as implementing HR systems as well as day to day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and offboarding.
- Ensure accurate HR records, databases, and documentation are in place.
- Lead or participate in regional salary benchmarking for internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate on the design and management of competitive salary structures and Total Rewards strategy across the region.
- Review HR reports and ensure timely submission of statutory surveys and compliance reports.
- Conduct HR compliance audits and work with head of HR on corrective measures.
- Continuously recommend improvements and streamline processes and systems for greater efficiency.
- Support HR infrastructure setup in new regions and stay updated on employment law changes.
- Your Profile
You should have a Degree in HR/Business Studies, IHRP certified will be advantageous. You possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the relevant capacity, are well versed with local and regional employment law, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have strong stakeholder management skills and are a self-starter.
