Job Responsibilities
- Manage catering operations for events, including planning menus with clients, ensuring food and beverage delivery, setup, and service run seamlessly
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, discussing event requirements, offering suggestions, and ensuring all needs are met to clients' satisfaction
- Oversee the events' logistics, including transportation, staffing and resource allocation to guarantee timely execution and smooth flow of services
- Coordinate with catering staff (chefs, restaurant managers) to ensure effective communication, proper event setup, and exceptional service standards
- Ensure that all food and beverage items meet quality and safety stnadards before delivery, maintaining adherence to company's quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of catering supplies and food, coordinate with vendors, and place orders as necessary to prevent shortages
- Assist with the budgeting proess for events, controlling costs without compromising on quality or service
- Ensure that all operations comply with health, safety and hygiene standards, and handle any emergency situations efficiently
- Collect feedback from clients' post-event, and work the the team to make continuous improvements to catering process
- Manage and coordinate last-minute delivery orders, ensuring timely dispatch and adherence to quality standards, including liaising with the kitchen team to prepare orders quickly and efficiently
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in catering, hospitality or F&B operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
- Valid Singapore Class 3 (manual) driving licence
