Inside Sales Representative – Maritime Industry

Location: Western Singapore


Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our client's maritime sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, building customer relationships, and driving sales of their maritime products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to engage clients effectively to meet their needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business leads through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends in the maritime industry.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic sales plans and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our products and solutions.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, client interactions, and opportunity pipelines.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer inquiries and market demand.
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to network and promote our offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within the maritime or related industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry, including current trends, regulations, and key players.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
