We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the organization's financial health and growth. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance short-term financial priorities with long-term strategic goals, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership:
- Lead the finance team to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting of financial information.
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, focusing on maximizing shareholder value, profitability, and long-term financial sustainability.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Monitor and evaluate the company’s financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Develop financial models to inform business decisions and support strategic planning.
- Identify key financial metrics and KPIs and regularly analyze financial data to drive business performance.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks and ensure proper financial controls are in place.
3. Capital Management & Fundraising:
- Oversee and manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation to ensure the organization maintains financial flexibility.
- Oversee capital structure, financing strategies, and investor relations.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, as well as strategic partnerships.
4. Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of financial statements in compliance with applicable laws and accounting principles.
- Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
5. Team Leadership & Development:**
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to finance team members.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments (Operations, Sales, HR, etc.) to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
6. Strategic Partnerships & Reporting:**
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and banks, to maintain strong relationships and ensure effective financial communication.
- Lead the preparation of board presentations, financial dashboards, and other reporting materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or similar).
- Proven track record of driving financial strategy and performance in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
- Experience managing a regional team, and leading financial operations, planning, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
