Key Responsibilities
- Assist the finance manager in the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly management reports for the companies under the Private Mobility Group
- Assist the finance manager in guiding the finance team and providing sound accounting knowledge
- Prepare monthly accounts, including the preparation and post of recurring journal entries
- Perform analytical review procedures of balance sheet and follow up with variance explanations and resolutions
- Prepare GST return, corporate tax and deferred taxation and liaise with tax agent to ensure timely filing
- Engage with external financial auditors on audit, tax and accounting issues to ensure smooth closure of year-end financial audit
- Project accurate cash flow and coordinate inter-companies balances within the group for payments and receipts. To work out borrowing needs and placement of excess cash with holding company.
- Provide quality finance support services to the business stakeholders of the Group
- Ensure that processes and systems are running in an effective and effective manner.
- Perform other duties and assume responsibilities as apparent or as assigned by the finance manager and Management.
Job Requirements:
1. Qualified Accountant with at least a degree in Accountancy or Professional Accounting Qualification
2. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience with at least 2 years of external audit experience with Big 4 preferred
3. Strong knowledge of advanced excel and Power Point
4. Experience in SAP and BPC would be highly advantageous
5. Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to details
