Role and Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Project Director.
• Overall responsible for managing the project team to meet or exceed customer contractual requirements for the delivery of the project.
• Develop, update and maintain the project plan and schedule.
• Manage the project scope, monitor project costing and forecasts, and develop/ maintain the project quality plan.
• Responsible for developing and updating the project risk management plan, and project team organization chart; planning and performing project communications/reporting.
• Work together with the Sales Team to manage project procurement.
• Manage the communications, reporting, and expectations of internal and external project stakeholders.
• Supervising project team members include Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Developers/System Engineers, Testers and Support Engineers.
• Ensure to fulfill specific project scope and responsibilities by working closely with Product Specialists, Technical Subject Matter Experts and System Engineers that support the Project Team.
• Involve in pre-sales activities, focusing on the technical solution, effort and timeline estimation and project delivery aspects of the tender/RFP proposal/presentation.
Job Knowledge/Skills
• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• MUST have at least 8 years of working experience as a Project Manager with experience in delivering railway communication-related projects such as PA systems, CCTV, Information display systems, and Network infrastructure.
• Knowledge and experience in the following technology areas will be advantageous:
o BIM modelling/Micro-station 3D CAD
o Primavera P6 Scheduling
• Project Management Certifications such as PMP are preferred.
