Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Provisions (F&B) SourcingOfficer to join our maritime team. The role involves sourcing provisions both locally and internationally, effectively managing our warehouse inventory and supply to our vessels in Singapore port. The ideal candidate will have experience in the F&B supply chain, preferably in maritime or ship chandler operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in product sourcing and vendor management from both local and international suppliers, handling all end-to-end purchasing functions, from quotations and orders to delivery and payment
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through demand analysis and forecast planning, ensuring timely replenishment and preventing overstock or shortages
- Evaluate stock items, analyse cost drivers, and recommend sourcing and inventory adjustments to support cost-saving initiatives and purchasing needs
- Process orders from vessels and outbounds, manage and resolve issues related to delivery, product quality and pricing
- Support inventory counts, reconciliations, and preparation of reports for management
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration related field
- Proven experience in F&B provisioning, strong knowledge of local and international markets is highly desirable
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and data reporting skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
