Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled L3 Cisco ACI Network Engineer to join our team, providing specialized onsite support for a high-profile client. This role requires extensive experience in Cisco ACI, networking technologies, and the ability to manage escalated issues, perform complex troubleshooting, and lead in network architecture design and configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Deliver advanced onsite support, assisting clients with troubleshooting, design, configuration, and escalated problem management for network-related issues.
- Project Collaboration: Act as a crucial team member in analyzing client requirements, developing specifications, designing solutions, and supporting testing and deployment processes.
- Technology Leadership: Serve as the technology lead for Cisco ACI and other networking technologies, proposing enhancements and optimizing network functionality.
- Client Point of Contact: Coordinate effectively with clients and vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters and ensuring successful project deployment and management.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5-8 years of technical experience in software development, systems design, network engineering, or infrastructure management within a large-scale MNC technology services environment.
- LAN/WAN Expertise: Proven experience in designing and building complex LAN and large-scale WAN networks, including a deep understanding of routing/switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Data Center & SDN Proficiency: Hands-on experience with data center networking solutions using Software Defined Networking (SDN) tools such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or OpenFlow protocols.
- LAN Switches: Extensive experience with LAN switch management, especially with Cisco and Huawei equipment.
- Campus Network & SDA: Demonstrated experience designing and deploying campus networks with Software Defined Access (SDA) solutions from Cisco or other SDA vendors.
- Network Automation: Skilled in network automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) or tools such as Ansible, Algosec, and Chef.
- Network Security: Proficient in network security technologies, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and SSL.
- Content Networking: Experience with content networking tools, such as cache and load balancers (e.g., F5).
- Operational Tools: Familiarity with Servicenow and Solarwinds for network operations management.
- Rotational Standby: Willingness to be on rotational standby for incident response and urgent troubleshooting needs.
