Division Profile

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.


As an Associate within our Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets team, you will be a key member in Singapore to manage market making of G10 interest rate products and STIR instruments including FX forwards, interest rate futures, interest rate swaps, forward rate agreement, etc. You will also be interacting closely with our clients and other counterparts in the office, acting as the key point of contact and ensuring excellence on our trading strategies.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making prices and/or trade execution for clients and managing risks to ensure positive revenue
  • Managing risk within authorized desk limits and executing hedging strategies to ensure risk limits are not breached
  • Accurate booking of all trading activities within the relevant system
  • Provide appropriate advice to clients and sales regarding market conditions and potential movements
  • Build and manage relationships with both clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and contribute desk trading strategies on an on-going basis

Qualifications / Requirement

  • Have at least 2 years experience working closely with rates trading desk.
  • Strong working experience in G10 currencies and is familiar with the macro economy
  • Proven positive track record in the industry
  • Knowledge and experience in programming Python, R, or other languages applied to their trading.
  • Attention to detail and have excellent communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree in relevant fields such as math, engineering, finance, financial mathematics/engineering or other related disciplines.
