2. OpenShift/OCP Engineer
Job Description:
As an OpenShift/OCP Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) to support application deployments, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters, ensuring their availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the OCP environment, including cluster, application, and network issues.
- Implement security and compliance policies within OpenShift to safeguard containerized applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift.
- Document and maintain best practices for deploying and scaling applications on OpenShift.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Ansible.
- Strong understanding of network and security best practices within containerized environments.
