Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure compliance to HSSE standards and requirements in a process plant.
- Perform field observations of contractor worker productivity on site by collecting productivity measurements data throughout the whole day until completion of work via Activity Analysis or other similar productivity measurement method. This observation to be done across maintenance, turnaround, and project construction.
- Accountable for ensuring sampling occurs on regular frequency to ensure holistic representative of the data at site and ensure that the observations size is large enough for the population of the work disciplines performed.
- Carry out site checks across functions to ensure that the data are verified and accuracy of data.
- Carry out check against contractor productivity measurement data to ensure consistency and validity of data compare to internal observation.
- Compiles and distributes daily and monthly reports to stakeholders. Analyse the data gathered from the observations and identify and highlight root cause of low productivity, blockers, and area of improvement.
- Propose and work with relevant stakeholders to remove obstacles that is causing inefficiencies at site to ensure Productivity is improved at site.
- Drive & promotes continuous improvement to achieve Productivity and Cost Competitiveness in all activities.
- Support any training/coaching on Activity Analysis for new observers.
- Carry out any other related duties as & when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or NITEC
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in the oil or petrochemical industry in area of productivity and continuous improvement or site work.
- Able to work in a team and independently.
- Self-driven and motivated with new/creative ideas for continuous improvement.
- Good stakeholder management
- Possess analytical & influencing skills.
- Proficient in English Language and IT Skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, and Power Points.
