Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts requirements analysis and collaborate with business units to elicit and review business requirements
- Work with cross functional teams to analyse and define the integration requirements between different systems, highlighting any dependencies and impacts
- Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on the business requirements
- Monitor and manage risks/issues related to the requirements and scope creep
- Work with offshore test team to translate requirements to test scenarios and test cases. Validates test result to ensure the fixes are tested correctly before rolling out to production.
- Clarify test findings escalated by test team and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request)
- Liaise with the relevant teams including vendors to investigate reported issues/problem, identify root cause/impact, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issue.
- Manage the outstanding defects/change requests, prioritize with business units and plan for the fix or implementation.
- Provide L3 production incident analysis, resolving, handle user queries and change requests.
- Maintain up to date knowledge based or documents related to application features and processes (subject matter expertise)
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- 7+ Years of experience with specialization on Payments implementations, with exposure to methodologies and frameworks for business analysis
- Experience in Payment & Settlement systems with strong domain knowledge of Asia Pacific payment systems (e.g. RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll etc.)
- Excellent Knowledge of ISO20022 payment standard and SWIFT messages
- Experience with TCS Bancs Payments product preferred
- Familiar with project management fundamentals and change management processes
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player
- Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology
- Knowledge in Java/J2EE platform, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS (would be a plus)
