We Are Looking For
As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be based in the Singapore Data Center and report to the Mechanical Engineer. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance program and schedule. You will work closely with departments such as Network, Security and Facilities to ensure all equipment is running smoothly and with minimal downtime. The Maintenance Engineer will also work closely and manage contractors on maintenance activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform technical maintenance activities associated with Electrical/ ACMV/ Fire system
- Manage contractors for preventive maintenance and ensure 52-Week Calendar is updated on a timely basis
- Review PTW/ MOP/ RA prior to the commencement of equipment maintenance/ fault investigation and resolution
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and schedules for critical facilities to ensure optimal operation and equipment reliability
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of critical facility equipment and systems to identify and address any issues or potential failures
- Plan and execute maintenance and repair activities, including coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure that work is performed safely and effectively
- Perform hands-on maintenance activities such as replacing filters, performing PMs on electrical systems, and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with industry standards, manufacturer recommendations, and regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, NFPA, and EPA
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including equipment histories, work orders, and maintenance logs
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery activities
Qualities You Should Have
- Bachelor / Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in critical facility maintenance and operations in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of critical facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Experience with critical facility management and maintenance software, such as CMMS, ASHRAE, NFPA, and TIA-942
- Certifications in relevant technologies, such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP)
